Raine Delight is a pseudonym of a self professed book lover and after one too many TSTL characters, decided to see if she could write something a little better. Well many drafts later, Devon Falls series came to together. Check out my book pages to see what is going on with me. My muse is a male nut who likes to leave me to go sip mai tais on the beach and leave me foundering for words; though eventually he takes pity on me and gets my words flowing and characters start settling down.
Personal notes: I live with my own boytoy and two kids. I love Johnny Depp movies and enjoy hiking, reading and watching movies with my family.
Hi Raine,
Jay Hartman indicated that you support numerous genres and might entertain a blog visit by someone writing a mystery. I have several mysteries out with Untreedreads and other small pulbishers and a short story to appear in Untreedreads Thanksgiving anthology. I’d appreciate any publicity you might be able to give me on your blog. Thanks.
Lesley
Hello Ms. Delight:
I am interested in being interviewed for your blog. I am a freelance writer from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Hi Raine,
Like Lesley, I had a message from Jay Hartman about your blog openings for November/December. My Untreed Reads mystery, The Man Everyone Loved, might be of interest to your readers:
Rookie Officer Flora Vastine of the Swatara Creek Police Department is called to Creekside Rest, a nursing facility, where a female guest has been murdered. Ray Fertig, another guest, who claims to have been the victim’s lover, was in the room when the body was discovered.
Fertig shocks Flora with tales of senior sexuality and asks to speak with former police chief Dan “Sticks” Hetrick. Now a consultant to the department, Hetrick knows Fertig’s unsavory past and is reluctant to discount him as a suspect despite evidence to the contrary.
It takes interviews with other of the man’s lovers to unravel what really happened.
This story offers readers a glimpse at the characters from my Sticks Hetrick series. Practice To Deceive, 5th in the series, was released in August by Whiskey Creek Press.
